9.
Set the lowest power level when applying the first treatment. Follow the
instructions in the "Information before use" chapter if you wish to use a
different power level for follow-up sessions.
10. Apply the treatment surface (5A or 15A) firmly on the skin. Only when
the treatment surface (5A or 15A) is entirely in contact with the skin, the
ready-for-use LEDs (6A) start to flash.
11. Press the pulse activation button (3). The appliance immediately verifies
the skin colour: if the skin colour is fair enough for a safe application, the
appliance emits the light pulse on the skin together with a sound and
the ready-for-use LEDs (6) go off. A slight tingling sensation may be felt.
Note: if the appliance does not emit a light pulse and the skin colour check
LEDs (6A) flash, the skin tone is too dark for a safe application. Try to use
the appliance on another part of the body.
12. Remove the treatment surface (5A or 15A) from the treated area.
13. 3.5 seconds after the previous pulse is emitted, the ready-for-use LEDs
(6) light up again.
14. Move the treatment surface (5A or 15A) to another section. Use the pressure
marks left previously to place the treatment surface on the adjacent section,
avoiding overlapped pulses (See "Covering the entire treatment area").
15. Repeat the process, starting from point 10, until the entire area to be
treated is covered.
AFTER TREATMENT
16. Press the switch-on/stand-by button (10): all the LEDs that are on, go off
and the stand-by LED lights up (9).
17. Remember the power level used for the treatment session as this will be
reset when the appliance is next switched on.

TREATMENT WITH THE PRECISION LAMP
If you wish to use the precision lamp (15) for smaller areas or where more
precision is required, proceed as follows:
•
Before applying the precision lamp (15), emit a light pulse in the area that
is to be treated with the standard lamp (5), following the user instructions
from 7 to 12. This will allow the skin colour sensor (5B) to verify the tone
of the skin that is to be treated and prevent the pulse from being emitted
if it is too dark.
•
Press the switch-on/stand-by button (10) after emitting a pulse: the switch-
on LED (11) goes off and the standby LED (9) goes on.
•
Remove the lamp (5) from the handpiece by
grasping and pulling it gently upwards to release it.
•
Insert the precision lamp (15) into the handpiece
by pressing gently.
•
Follow the user instructions from point 7 to point
18, being careful not to go over the area previously covered by the emitted
pulse of the standard lamp (5).
•
The procedure must be repeated every time the power cord (14) is
disconnected from the socket.
