connectors
The GP1 Digital Piano has a number of connections on the rear panel.
dc 9 Volts: Used to connect the multi-voltage external GP1 power supply (included).
on / oFF: Used To Turn The Instrument On And Off. We Recommend Unplugging The Instrument From The Ac Supply If Not
Being Used For Long Periods.
headphone: Stereo Headphone output is located on the rear of the GP1. We recommend the use of Professional Quality
Headphones to enjoy the high quality sound of the GP1
stereo out: Audio stereo outputs (Left/Right) can be used to connect to external amplifiers, mixer consoles or PA systems. We
recommend stereo connection for best reproducing of GP1 Voices and Efx. Mono equipment or using only one output channel
will reduce sound quality and Efx proprieties.
Midi in / out / thru: Midi sockets. Midi is an acronym for "Musical Instrument Digital Interface" and can be used to
communicate and exchange musical data between electronic instruments also equipped with MIDI.
sustain: Allows for connection of the included VFP1 Sustain pedal or optional 3 way pedal (VFP3) for Soft, Sostenuto and
Sustain control.
usB: USB Port for Midi communication between GP1 and computer. This USB port can be used also for future upgrade.
Volume: Allows for connection of a Volume Pedal. The GP1 Master Volume can be controlled by the optional VP pedal
(optional).
