Setting the switchpoint
General
The yellow LED comes on when the output is active.
Remove M3x4 protective screw from the potentiometer
opening while making settings.
Set the switchpoint using the potentiometer on the front
side of the device.
Keep the flow rate and medium temperature stable while
setting and wait until the temperature between the sensor
and medium has been compensated.
The flow rate must lie within the detection range of the
sensor.
Monitoring a flow rate limit for undershoot or
stoppage
1. Set flow rate and wait for the ready period.
2. Turn potentiometer counter-clockwise until the red LED
comes on.
3. Turn potentiometer clockwise until the yellow and
2 green LEDs come on. Output is active.
4. Reduce flow rate and observe the LEDs and switching
output. When the yellow LED goes out the output is
deactivated.
Monitoring a flow rate limit for overshoot
1. Set flow rate or stop flow and wait for the ready period.
2. Slowly turn the potentiometer screw clockwise until the
yellow LED comes on.
3. Turn potentiometer counter-clockwise until the red LED
comes on. Output is not active.
4. Increase flow rate. Also observe the LED indicators and
switching output. When the limit value is exceeded, the
yellow LED comes on and the output is active.
