Additional Safety and Operation Instructions
Remember that the operator or user is responsible

for any accident or damage involving third parties
or their property.
To mow the grass at the desired height and get

optimum performance from the grass mower, use
one of the settings.
Avoid the accumulation of grass in the mower

keeping it clean, it decreases the machine vibration
and contributes for a better efficacy of the side grass
outlet or to the grass catcher, depending on the
machine model.
Preserve your equipment. Frequently check if

the movable parts are fixed, if any component is
damaged or check for any other condition that may
affect its optimum operation. Should any problem
arise, fix it before using the equipment. Many
accidents are caused by lack of proper maintenance.
When the grass is very high, cut it in stages using the

adjustment system. Thus, it avoids the bushing in the
grass outlet and the overload of the engine.
Always be careful with your steps in inclined areas

(slopes and small elevations).
Be really careful when changing direction on slopes

(mountain slopes and small hills).
Wear non-skid footwear in inclined areas.

Do not cut excessively steep slopes.

Do not cut the grass in reverse, it can generate a

serious accident and impair grass cutting and picking
efficacy, in the machines with grass catcher.
Start the motor with the cutting blade free.

Do not start the mower directly on the grass.

Wait for the engine to reach the ideal rotation before

height and before removing the grass catcher.
Always keep the mower base grass exit to the grass

catcher unobstructed.
Neither lift nor carry the mower when the motor is

on.
Use the equipment according to the instructions

in this manual. Take into account the working
conditions and the job to be done.
Using the equipment for activities not covered in this

manual may result in dangerous situations.
Attention!
This grass mower is equipped with a fourcycle

explosion motor - It does not use oil mixed
with the gasoline.
The engine leaves the factory without oil and

gasoline.
Do not turn it on before looking and following

the orientations in this manual.
Never operate the mower without protection

devices like the deflector or grass catcher, according
to mower model.
Attention!
Whenever performing any cleaning or

maintenance operation, first make sure that
the engine is off and the blade is stopped. The
cutting blade continues in movement during
a few seconds after the engine is off.
