Attention:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation and maintains the heat
during some time after disconnection.
Never open the housing of the appliance. There is danger of electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

1.
Remove all packaging materials.
2.
Wipe the heating element with a
damp cloth. Wash the removable
parts such as
forks in warm water with a mild
detergent. Dry all parts carefully
with a soft cloth.
3.
Place the fondue appliance in the
middle of a table on a heat resis-
ting surface (e.g. marble plate,
silicon mat etc.)
4.
Now fill the saucepan with liquid
according to the recipe:
ƒ Stainless steel saucepan
oil or stock max. 800 ml
ƒ Ceramic saucepan
cheese or chocolate max. 600 ml
5.
Put the plug into a power socket
according to the rating label.

CLEANING AND CARE

1.
Do not immerse the hot ceramic
saucepan into cold water. It might
crack due to the temperature
shock.
2.
All removable parts such as stain-
less steel saucepan, lid, ceramic
saucepan, forks can be cleaned in
the dishwasher or by hand in hot
water with mild detergent.
3.
In case of incrustations soak the
saucepans overnight.
4.
The energy supply station must
not be immersed into water or
any other liquid for cleaning. Just

Before cleaning the
appliance, remove the
plug from the socket
and let the appliance
cool down completely.
6.
Place the saucepan on the hea-
ting plate.
7.
Turn the temperature control
button into the required position
according to the recipe and heat
the liquid.
8.

tions in the chapter Recipes!
9.
After use, turn the switch into the
position O and take the plug out
of the socket. Let the appliance
cool down completely.
Please be aware that the
plate as well as the saucepan
remain hot for some time after
having switched off the appli-
ance.

Do not use any abrasive or scou-
ring cleaning agents.

Do not pour used oil or stock into
the sink, but let it cool down and
dispose it according to your local
regulations in a closed recipient.

ons (see page DISPOSAL).
8.
Dry all parts carefully before sto-
ring or using the appliance.
