USING YOUR STEAM INHALER
HOT STEAM INHALATION THERAPY
11. Make sure the dial switch on the power cord is in
the 'OFF' position and plug the power cord into
an electrical outlet. Turn the dial switch to the ON
position, Fig. 1. The light on the front of the unit
under the secondary fill tank will illuminate.
12. Bring face to the mask, Fig 2. Do NOT attempt to
lift the unit to face. The face may safely make
contact with the mask, but should not rest on or
pull on the mask.
13. Unit will take approximately 60 seconds to boil
water and begin producing steam.
14. Inhale and exhale normally. The particle size can
be adjusted by sliding the particle adjustment
slide switch, Fig. 3:
Up–produces larger particles, ideal for inhalation
through the mouth
Down–produces smaller particles, ideal for
inhalation through the nose
15. Continue treatment for as long as comfortable or
until the steam lessens and quits, approximately
6-9 minutes.
16. When treatment is complete, turn off unit
immediately at the dial switch on the cord and
unplug the unit. Do not attempt to move or
disassemble the unit until it has cooled
completely, approximately 10 minutes.
17. Disassemble and clean your steam inhaler, Fig. 4.
All parts must be dry before storage.
