Master-Slave function
The Master-Slave connection module allows you to move two synchronised sliding gate motors. The Master motor will therefore command
the movements of the Slave motor.
Attention: All security and command devices must be connected to the Master motor and the Slave motor must have all the security devices

bridged (see pag. 52) and the commands disconnected. Transmitters must be memorised on the Master motor.
The two motors will move together in synchrony (opening, closing etc.), particular situations (such as the intervention of the current sensor
on the Slave motor) may cause a loss of synchrony but this will be corrected automatically through repositioning.
How to connect the motors:
- program all gate movements (see page 76) on both motors as if they were independent;
- switch off the power to both ECU's, insert the Master - Slave MODCA modules into the slots J2
on the mother board (see pag. 48);
- interconnect the modules as shown in the drawing paying careful attention to the crossover connection of
binding posts A and B;
- power up the programmers;
- go to
MASTER/SLAVE
Slave motor to SLAVE;
- check that the indication ' MASTER MODE ' appears on the display start up screen of the Master motor;
- check that the indication ' SLAVE MODE ' appears on the display start up screen of the Slave motor.
REPOSITIONING
Attention! During the repositioning manoeuvre the current sensor value could be altered. At the end of the manoeuvre, however, it will reset
automatically to the chosen value.
If the programmer blocks due to an encoder count error ('Error ENC' on the display), after a programmer reset ('Out of pos.'), when a motor
has been released ('Released motor') or when there is a problem with the motor ('Error Mot') the warning lights and indicator light will flash
simultaneously for 2 seconds and will then switch off for 10 seconds. If in this stage you send a (TA, TC, TAL or TD) command to the programmer
it will move the gates slowly to the completely closed position (2 times as in the programming procedure) in order to recover the correct position.
At this point the programmer will function normally again. If a 'TA' command is given the positioning recovery is carried out in the opening direction.
