2. Working off the mains
The transmitter can be powered from a power point by using the
6V adapter supplied. Connect the adapter's 6V AC output plug to
the transmitter's DC socket jack (17). Plug the adapter into the
mains socket. The battery power supply will be cut as soon as the
transmitter is connected to the mains.
N.B. The range is longer when the transmitter is powered from
the mains.
B/ RECEIVER
1. Working with the supplied rechargeable battery
The Lithium-Polymer battery is already installed in the receiver. To
change the battery slide the compartment lid in the direction
indicated, take the battery out, and disconnect the wire.
2. Charging the battery with the mains adapter
Connect the adapter's 6 V output plug to the receiver's USB port
(15). The functioning light (19) will change from green to red indicating
that the battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged the
functioning light (19) will change back to green.
Note that if the receiver is off, once you connect the 6V power
supply equipment to the USB port (15) the functioning light (19)
lights up in red while the battery is being charged.
N.B. Before using the receiver for the first time charge the battery
for at least 5 hours.
N.B. To give the battery a longer working life wait until it is completely
uncharged before recharging it.
ATTENTION: MAKE SURE THE RECEIVER BATTERY IS RECHARGEABLE BEFORE CONNECTING TO THE USB PORT
ELSE THERE MAY CREATE AN EXPLOSION
To select the language you wish to use - English or French – please refer to the section "Languages" in the part "Functioning".
CONNECTING THE TRANSMITTER TO THE RECEIVER
Your transmitter and receiver are already connected and ready to communicate. However, should you notice any
interference they can be connected again following the steps below:
1. Switch both units on. Wait until the image or text "No signal or out of range" is displayed on the screen (17)
2. Press and hold down the Menu button (12) until the functioning light of the camera (20) on/off starts to flash.
3. With the help of a pointed object briefly press the connection button (10) at the back of the transmitter. The
functioning light (3) will now start flashing.
4. After 5 seconds the screen (17) will show the image captured by the camera lens (6) once the connection is successful.
5. The units are now connected.
6. If the coupling has not worked (i.e. if the image on the screen (17) does not show the view the camera lens (6)
captures), repeat steps 1 to 3.
