1.
When you have plugged the appliance into a power outlet, the indicator light will turn on and the
appliance will begin to heat.
Note: The operation indicator light turns on and off in accordance with the heating requirements.
This is normal. The thermostat controls the temperature.
2.
Turn the thermostat button to the "Max" setting (maximum temperature) and allow the appliance to
preheat:
about 10 minutes if you are using the mini-pans,
about 20 to 30 minutes if you are using the cooking stone.
3.
Grease the pans and/or the cooking plates with cooking oil using a brush or a paper towel.
4.
Start cooking (see the following recommendations for use). Turn the thermostat to the desired
setting to regulate the cooking temperature.
5.
After use, turn the thermostat to 0 and unplug it. Let the appliance and its accessories cool
completely before cleaning and storing them.
!
WARNING: The accessible surfaces may get hot when the appliance is operating. Never
directly touch the hot surfaces of the appliance, the grill plate, or the cooking stone with
your hands when in use. Only hold the pans by their handles and use the wooden spatulas
to handle food.

Use of the pans

1.
Put the raclette cheese in the pans. Insert the pans into the appliance to start cooking.
2.
When the cheese has melted, you can remove the pans. Be careful when handling the pans as they
are very hot.
3.
Remove the raclette cheese from the pans using the wooden spatulas provided.
4.
You can cook other foods, apart from raclette cheese; prepare the food by cutting it into small
pieces (meat, vegetables); put them in the pans without over filling them (the food must not touch
the heating element). Insert the pans into the appliance. Cook the food, stirring it occasionally.
Avoid burning the food. When finished cooking, take the pans out of the appliance and remove the
food with the aid of the wooden spatulas.
Note: you can cook several things at the same time. However, do not leave empty pans on
the hot plates or in their normal cooking position.
