SHARpENING KNIVES
Your Sharpening Tool can sharpen most
straight edge household knives. Do not use
this tool to sharpen serrated knives.
To sharpen a knife:
1. Install knife/scissor guide onto motor unit per
"Installing and Removing Guides".
2. Plug Sharpener in.
3. Turn motor unit "ON".
4. Hold knife handle in one hand and support
the spine of the blade with your other hand
(Fig 16).
5. Starting at the heel, insert the blade into the
guide, rest against guide surface, and draw
the cutting edge smoothly across the
sharpening wheel ending at the tip. Use light
pressure for best results. (Fig 16)
6. Flip the blade over and repeat step 4 for the
other face of the blade (Fig 17).
7. Repeat steps 4-5 until a clean sharp edge is
achieved.
8. Turn motor unit "OFF".
