In a Vehicle
Position the machine so that the bristles
of the side brooms are not bent or
twisted. Bent or twisted bristles may
otherwise become permanently
deformed.
Twisted bristles can be straightened by
heating them with a hair dryer – see
"Inspection and Maintenance by User".
Use a strap to secure the machine in
position.
Position the strap between the
N
hopper and machine housing. Do
not overtension the strap – the
machine might otherwise be
damaged.
The push handle can be removed to
save space when the machine is
transported in a vehicle.

Stand in front of the machine – set

push handle at an angle of about
45° (line up arrows on housing with
web on arms).
Ease both arms apart and pull them
N
out of their seats at the same time.
Installing
Stand in the push handle and grip
N
both arms with your hands.
Ease the arms apart.
N
Push the arms into their seats in the
N
machine – the pegs on the arms slip
into the seats.
