Straightening Twisted Bristles
Twisted or bent bristles can be re-
straightened by heating them.
Use a hair dryer to heat and
N
straighten the bristles.
Never use a hot air blower, open flames
or torch for this purpose. Very high
temperatures will permanently damage
the bristles.
Lubricating the Gear Assembly
The gear assembly can be lubricated
with an alcohol based silicone oil. The
use of other lubricants may affect correct
operation of the gear assembly.
Stand the machine on end.

Spray a little silicone oil onto the
N
gear assembly through the
openings in the wheel housing.
Cleaning the Air Filters
Remove the hopper.
N
Pull both filters out of their guides.
N
Take the foam element out of the
N
filter.
Wash the foam element in water,
N
allow it to dry and refit it in the filter.
Refit the filters in their guides.
N
