sufficient operating life (E.g. HSS router bits or
even better carbide tipped bits.)
Use only router bits with exact shank diameter,
fîr to the corresponding collet and appropriate
for the router speed.
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING Off
▪ Switching on: push the slider of ON/OFF
switch 1 forward until its front end will sag,
thus fixing itself.
▪ Switching off: press the back, lifted end of
switch 1 and release it to return in its initial
position.
WARNING: In case ambient tem-
perature is lower than 0
switched on only in "G" position of the speed
electronic regulator. After several minutes op-
eration at no-load the router can be used also
in the rest of regulator positions.
ROTATION SPEED ADjUSTMENT
Rotation speed adjustment can be varied
smoothly from A to G, through rotating the thum-
bwheel of the electronic regulator 14, placed on
the rear of the electric motor cover.
Models feature full-wave tachoconstant elec-
tronics for:
- Soft start and restriction of the starting cur-
rent;
- Speed pre-selection and control and maintain-
ing constant rpm upon overloading;
- Brief overload protection (upon jamming the
wheel). To resume operation release the ON/
OFF switch and then press it again;
- Continuous overload protection (the thermal
protection switches the machine off to protect
the motor from inadmissible overheating). Upon
actuating the thermal protection the machine
becomes disabled. Тo resume operation release
the ON/OFF switch and then press it again.
- Non-self starting safety (NVR) after restoring
the mains supply. To resume operation release
the ON/OFF switch and then press it again.

HANDLE ADjUSTMENT

Pull out the handles separately (1) and rotate
them in position, convenient for operation (2+),
then release the handles (3).

ROUTING WITH SUCTION
Prior to replacing the router bit, make sure the
machine is unplugged.
Press spindle lock 16 until its dihedral groove
grips bush I dihedral (fig.3). If necessary rotate
the spindle by hand until the dihedral gets into
the spindle lock groove.
In this position, using spanner S17, unwind
screw III and remove the router bit IV from spin-
dle 9.
Insert the new router bit into the collet and fas-
ten nut III firmly.
Release the spindle lock - it should return back
in its initial position.
Prior to resuming operation make sure the spin-
dle lock has returned to its initial position.
ADjUSTMENT Of CUTTING DEPTH
Lower down supporting knee until the tool will
touch the surface of the machined piece, fix it by
lever 3, and read the position on vertical ruler 13
as initial (zero) position.
Adjust the first depth level by guide 2, pointing to
the highest level of the three-position support 6,
reading the size on vertical ruler 13 and fix the
supporting knee with lever 3.
Fix depth guide 2 by the wing screw. (Adjust in
advance the three levels of the positioning sup-
port to the desired levels.)
- The second and the third level of cutting depth
can be achieved by only rotating the disk of the
three-position support 6 and moving the support
knee until depth guide 2 will touch the corre-
spon-ding level of the support.
Check the sizes on the vertical ruler or by a ref-
erence part (test part).
USAGE Of THE PARALLEL GUIDE
The parallel guide 10 is used for cutting edges
and grooves parallel to them at a predefined
distance. Adjusting the distance is accom-
plished by using horizontal ruler 7, after that
parallel guide 10 being fixed with screws 11.
ROUTING AGAINST DRAWING
(DRAfT)
It is performed without parallel guide 10, against
the preliminary drawn on the workpiece draft.
Better results can be achieved if machining
smaller lengths.
