Function generator
When selected by the "SWEEP ON/OFF" key (SW ON on the LCD), this
output activates the frequency scan generator.
G
The SWEEP mode is authorised in modes
The frequency variation of the signal generated in output may be
controlled:
internally INT: according to a linear (LIN) or logarithmic (LOG) law
externally EXT: according to a voltage instruction applied on
The "SWEEP SOURCE" key is used to choose the frequency scan via
internal control ("INT" indicated on the LCD) or by external control ("EXT"
indicated on the LCD).
In internal scanning mode, the "SWEEP MODE" key is used to choose the
frequency scanning law:
• the linear law ("LIN" indicated on the LCD).
• the logarithmic law ("LOG" indicated on the LCD).
Note : In external control, the variable voltage applied to the input
BNC "VCF IN" is used to vary the frequency around the displayed
frequency.
The voltage range applied to the "VCF IN" input is :
0 V to +10 V Ä switching from the min. frequency of the range to the
0 V to -10 V Ä switching from the max. frequency of the range to the

The frequency scanning is limited by the frequency range
