USER INSTRUCTIONS FOR FM RADIO, LEVEL DEPENDENT & EXT. AUDIO INPUT
FM Radio
The hearing protector features level-limiting of audio signals from the speakers to maximum 82 dB(A) at the
ear. Remember to adjust the volume when working in noisy environments so that any warning signals etc.
can be heard.
On/Off Volume Radio
Turn the dial (A:10) to switch on the radio. Continue turning clockwise to increase the volume.
In the event of poor reception conditions, the radio automatically switches from stereo to mono mode to
maintain optimal audio quality.
Frequency/channel selector
Turn the dial (A:11) to choose radio stations. The radio s frequency range is FM 88-108 MHz..
Level Dependent Active listening
The hearing protector is equipped with Level Dependent Active listening . If interference or faults occur,
consult the manufacturer s instructions on maintenance and battery replacement.
Warning! The sound from the Level Dependent Active listening on the hearing protector can exceed the
external noise level.
On/Off Volume Level Dependent function
Turn the dial (A:12) to turn on the active listening microphones. Continue to turn clockwise to increase the
volume.
