Wheel guard safety switch (not for BM 11)
A wheel guard has to be tted to all balance machines
with a rotation speed greater than 100 rpm by law. The
safety device is tted to make sure that the machine
only starts when the wheel guard is closed. If the safety
device is switched off by the user, the manufacturer will
take no responsibility for any resulting damage or injury
occurring thereof.
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 8.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The balance run can be started only when

The balance run can be started only when the

the measuring run the motor is switched off and
the wheel runs free. This function is useful to view
the run out of the wheel. As soon as the hood is
closed again the measurement run will start again
from the beginning.
The settings can be changed by the use of keys 4 and 5.

Balancer control function
With function F9 several ACTUAL values can be che-
cked. This is helpful when a failure of the machine has
to be analyzed.

Routine:

Shaft is positioned perpendicular
Shaft is positioned at any other position.
This value can lie between 0 and 255 and
changes with the rotation of the shaft.
Via the „+" or „-" button further values can now be dis-
played. The different data are paged through.
With reaching the last function value the program
begins again with the shaft position display.
The following data can be retrieved in the following or-
der:
- Actual shaft position
- Actual distance of inner gauge arm
- Actual diameter of inner gauge arm
- Actual width
- Actual position of the hood
- Status of the brake
- Status of the QuickSpan
- Temperature
- Temperature during last calibration
