Error Messages
Counter measure / causes
Hardware faults or file errors or adjustment errors or setting errors rendering instrument not working
properly.
Change to new or freshly charged batteries.
Change the PtID. Max. PtID is 99999999 and do not end any 8 characters string with an alphabet char-
acter.
Darken staff or reduce lighting on staff or shade the objective telescope.
Light up staff uniformly.
Check target.
Check the entry / input.
Level the instrument.
Set internal memory to OFF and continue measurement without recording OR download stored data to
an external device and continue measurement with internal memory ON after deleting all recorded data
in the internal memory.
Data file error.
Prepare to download data to external device, in order to continue further measurement with recording
ON after deleting all recorded data in the internal memory.
Move staff or instrument further apart.
Move staff or instrument closer together.
Stop working, external temperature is outside the instrument operating temperature.
Stop working, external temperature is outside the instrument operating temperature.
