- Do not use pipes with a diameter measuring less than 150 mm, reduce bends to a minimum and make sure the pipes feature the
minimum required length.
- Ensure the direction of the air coming in and going out matches the direction indicated by the arrow on the appliance's external
label.
- Comply with current air discharge regulations.
The appliance must only be used with the 4-speed electric control mounted on the hood.
6) Make sure the conveyer, which is usually mounted on the hood, has been removed from it, disconnected from the mains and the
electronic push-button panel with 4 speed settings. Then connect the appliance's 6-pole C1 connector to the corresponding C2
connector of the electronic push-button panel mounted on the hood.
7) Connect the appliance to the mains in accordance with all current standards.

INSTALLING THE OUTDOOR REMOTE UNIT (URE)
The assembly must be carried out by qualifi ed personnel. The appliance is designed to be mounted on outdoor vertical walls (see fi g.
11). Identify a position that provides protection from the rain, snow, wind, etc. to prevent water and moisture from entering inside the
appliance, as they could damage it.
1) Remove the external stainless steel casing from the unit (URE). Place the upper fl ange (F) of the appliance in the area selected to
fi x it, mark all the holes required to secure it. Drill and insert 8 expansion bolts ø 8 mm (see fi g. 13). Make sure the fi xing points are
resistance enough to hold the unit.
2) Then carry out the following steps (see fi g. 14-15):
- Insert the hood's smoke outlet pipe in the designated hole (diameter 150 mm) made in the wall.
- Insert the plastic pipe (diameter approx. 60 mm) in the designated hole (diameter 60 mm) made in the wall. The pipe is used to pass
the power supply cables with plug and the cables used for the connection to the hood's push-button panel.
- Carry out the connection with the hood's smoke outlet pipe.
- Pass the electric cables inside the designated plastic pipe, diameter 60 mm.
- Secure the unit (URE) to the wall with the 8 screws ø 8 mm supplied.
3) Place back the external stainless steel casing and make sure the perforated grid coincides with the appliance's air outlet (see fi g.
15).
4) Mount the fi tting (R) and, if necessary, the valve (V) supplied (see fi g. 9A) on the upper part of the hood's motor chamber.
5) Connect the hood's smoke outlet pipe to the URS unit.
