Seal the wall around the plaster
shield with waterproof sealant.
Failure to seal the wall may result in
water damage.
Install the slip connector.
Cut the slip connector so that it extends ⅜" - ½"
outside the surface of the finished wall.
Insert the spindle extension.
Cut the spindle extension so that it extends ¾" - ⅞"
outside the surface of the finished wall.
