testing on DC voltage and phase detection tests
on AC voltage. The unit has a device for testing
continuity and semiconductors. The necessary
voltage for the test is supplied by the voltage
power source integrated into the test handle (A).
The voltage tester has two test handles (A) and
(B) and a connection cable (9). Test handle (A)
is fitted with a display screen (2).
Display device.
At the top of the display screen (2) is a test
switch for the earth leak circuit breaker, FI (3).
Underneath this switch are 8 bright LED's (4),
which indicate DC and AC voltage from 12 to
690 V. The voltage scale (5) is on the right of the
display screen. The DC voltage LED's (6) and
(7) also indicate polarity. LED (8) also indicates
continuity and the phase.
3. Testing AC voltages.
The voltage tester can only be used within the
nominal voltage scale from 12 to 690 V.
Never connect the voltage tester to voltage for
more than thirty seconds (Maximum connection
period allowed = 30 s.).
Connect the electrodes (1) on the test handles
(A) and (B) to the installation to be tested.
In the case of AC voltage above 12 V, the LED's
(6) and (7) will light up to a greater or lesser ex-
tent. The LED's light up progressively according
to the voltage being tested.
Testing phases in AC.
The voltage tester can only be used within the
nominal voltage scale from 12 to 690 V.
