Charging
Plug the power plug of the
battery charger into the
electrical outlet.
3 Plug the jack of the charging
cable from the battery charger
into the sokket of the battery.
4 The red LED on the battery
charger will light up.
5 The battery is fully charged
when the green LED of the
charger is lit.
Charging on the vehicle
electrical system
Plug the adapter plug of the
12 V supply cable into the cigar
lighter sokket on the vehicle.
6 Plug the jack of the 12 V supply
cable into the socket of the
battery charger.
3 Plug the jack of the charging
cable from the battery charger
into the sokket of the battery.
4 The red LED on the battery
charger will light up.
5 The battery is fully charged
when the green LED of the
charger is lit.
Recharging takes about 3 hours in each case, depending on the residual
battery charge.

Conditioning the battery
Dräger Safety recommends:
If the performance of the batte-
ry is reduced, the battery
should be conditioned, as fol-
lows:
Connect the battery to the bat-
tery charger – see "Charging"
or "Charging on the vehicle
electrical system", page 10.
1 Press the button on the charger
briefly. The battery will be
discharged.
2 The red LED on the charger will
flash as the battery discharges.
After discharging, the charger
automatically switches over to
charging mode. The red LED
will be constantly lit while the
battery is being recharged.
3 The battery is fully recharged
when the green LED on the bat-
tery charger is lit.
This process takes about 6 hours.

4 Push the battery lock button to
release the battery.
