Hydromassage tubs - instructions for operation
5
Operation:
When the hydromassage tub is switched on using
the ON/OFF switch, all the LEDs on the control
keyboard light for a few seconds to indicate
that the appliance is operating correctly. After
a few seconds, only the following LEDs remain
lit: level indicators (L1 and L2), START/STOP,
SHIFT and SET. The WHIRLPOOL and AIRPOOL
hydromassage systems can be operated either
independently or simultaneously.
When the SHIFT key is pressed, LED W1 begins
to fl ash. When the SHIFT key is pressed for the
second time, the LED switches off and LED
W2 begins to fl ash. Each time the SHIFT key is
pressed, the LED relative to the corresponding
function fl ashes.
When the SET key is pressed, the function
indicated by the fl ashing LED is memorized;
the LED stops fl ashing and remains lit, and
the next LED in sequence begins to fl ash. For
example, if function W3 is selected when W2 was
memorized previously, the new setting cancels
the previous setting; LED W2 switches off, and
LED W3 lights.
Proceed in the same way for the remaining LEDs.
If the SHIFT key is pressed again, all settings are
cancelled; the LEDs switch off and the leftmost
LED resumes fl ashing.
Press the START/STOP key to start the selected
function. To interrupt operation, without cancelling
the settings entered previously, press START/
STOP again (the selection LEDs light).
Here is an example of how to operate the
Shift (2)
system.
First, fi ll the tub with cold water.
To select a medium-intensity hydromassage cycle
(W2), simply press the SHIFT key twice, and then
Set (1)
the SET key (the second LED will remain lit and the
third will begin to fl ash). Press the START/STOP
key to start the hydromassage function (at this
Start (1)
point, only the second LED remains lit).
The hydromassage tub is fi tted with a timer
30'
which automatically interrupts operation of
the hydromassage system 30 minutes after
pressing the START/STOP key. To re-start the
hydromassage system, simply press START/
STOP again.

Filling the disinfectant reservoir
To fi ll the disinfectant reservoir, remove the fi ller
cap located on the edge of the tub, and introduce
1 litre of disinfectant (pilot light L2 on the keyboard
will change from red to green).
Each disinfection cycle requires approximately
70 g of disinfectant solution (this quantity cannot
be modifi ed). The capacity of the reservoir is
therefore suffi cient for about 12 disinfection
cycles. A level sensor inside the reservoir checks
for the presence of disinfectant; if the reservoir is
empty, the disinfection cycle will not start.
L2
The recommended disinfectant solution, which
is available through our authorized dealers and
Service Centres, not only sanitizes the appliance,
but also prevents fermentation and unpleasant
odours, and inhibits the formation of algae and
mildew.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use products containing chlorine
(Amuchina, Bleach etc.) as these may
damage the system and cause leakage of
disinfectant.

Disinfection cycle
Tubs fi tted with this type of keyboard may feature
the System Clean or Professional disinfection
system.
Whichever of the two systems is featured, the
disinfection cycle is an essential function which
guarantees the maximum hygiene and correct
operation of the appliance, since it disinfects
those parts of the system that cannot be reached
during normal cleaning.
With the System Clean disinfection system, the
water used for the hydromassage can be used.
The cycle can only be started when the tub is
fi lled with water.
For the Professional disinfection cycle, the tub
must be empty, since this system uses water
directly from the domestic water supply, and
mixes the water with the disinfectant to fl ush the
hydromassage circuit.
Before starting the disinfection cycle - whether
System Clean or Professional - ensure that
the tub is not in use. Also ensure that all
the hydromassage nozzles are open. The
disinfection cycle lasts for about two minutes
and, once started, cannot be interrupted.
Starting the disinfection cycle
Before starting the disinfection cycle, ensure
that:
1) The main power switch is set to "ON".
2) For System Clean disinfection, the level
L1
of water in the tub must be 5 cm above the
hydromassage nozzles (pilot light L1 on the
keyboard lights GREEN).
