Hydromassage tubs - instructions for operation
For the Professional disinfection system, check
that the tub is empty (pilot light L1 on the keyboard
L1
lights RED).
3) Press the SHIFT key to select the disinfection

To start the cycle, press the SET key and then,

within 5 seconds, the START key. If this procedure

is not carried out correctly, i.e. within a maximum
of 5 seconds, the cycle will not start and all
settings entered will be cancelled (the LEDs,
with the exception of the level LEDs, will switch
off).
Start
N.B.: This starting procedure is designed to
act as a safety feature to prevent the user from
inadvertently starting the disinfection cycle while
using the hydromassage tub.
At the end of the disinfection cycle, all the functions
will be reset and the LEDs (with the exception of
LEDs L1 and L2) will switch off).
If the disinfection cycle does not start, check
that other functions have not been selected and
that the disinfectant tank contains disinfectant
(without which the disinfection cycle cannot be
started); if not, fi ll the tank and repeat the start-up
procedure from step 3.
Thatʼs all the information you need - you can
now step into the tub and enjoy the splendid
hydromassage that your Albatros tub can
provide.

How to operate the hydromassage system
The procedure described below shows the
sequence of operations required to use the
hydromassage system, and includes a few
useful tips.
Please remember that it is advisable to allow at
least two hours after a meal before enjoying a
relaxing massage.
First, switch the appliance on using the main
L1
ON/OFF switch. Then fi ll the tub until the level
of the water is 5 - 6 cm above the hydromassage
L2
nozzles (LED L1 on the control keyboard must
be GREEN).
The ideal water temperature for an effective
hydromassage is very slightly above normal body
temperature, i.e. about 37°C.
Shift
Before starting the hydromassage system
(by pressing START), you can select the
desired intensity of the water jets for both the
WHIRLPOOL and AIRPOOL functions.
Set
To do so, press SHIFT to select the intensity (from
maximum to minimum) and then press SET to
confi rm this selection.

After selecting the intensity of the AIRPOOL
hydromassage (e.g. A2) and confi rming by
W2 pressing SET, you can then select the quantity
of ozone present in the water jet.
LED "A1" - which indicates the maximum quantity
of ozone in the water jet - begins to fl ash at
intervals different from the previous intervals.
A1 At this point, press SHIFT to select the desired
quantity of ozone (from maximum to minimum).
A2 If the selected AIRPOOL speed and quantity of
ozone are the same, only one LED will remain lit;
this LED will fl ash even faster than before.
Press SET to confi rm this selection.

To create an atmosphere which completes
the pleasant sensation of the hydromassage,
switch on the underwater light (after selecting
the desired hydromassage cycles). This function
corresponds to LED "F". The effect will be truly
extraordinary.
STOP / START The hydromassage system is factory-set for a
duration of 30 minutes. If desired, the duration
of the cycle can be doubled to one hour simply
by pressing the START/STOP key at the end of
the fi rst cycle. However, a thirty-minute cycle is
more than suffi cient to ensure the full benefi ts of
the hydromassage system; it should be borne in
mind that longer hydromassage treatments may
lower the blood pressure or cause excessive
muscular relaxation.
At the end of the hydromassage cycle (if the
System Clean cycle is featured) check that all
the nozzles are open and exit the tub without

draining the water (L1 lights GREEN); the water
can be used to clean the internal parts of the
L2
hydromassage circuit using the disinfection cycle
(see instructions above).
The disinfection cycle lasts about two minutes,
and cannot be interrupted. At the end of the
disinfection cycle, open the drain outlet to empty
the tub.

If the tub features the Professional disinfection
system, open the drain outlet to empty the tub
L2
(L1 lights RED) and start the cycle as described
in the instructions. Check that water mixed with
disinfectant enters the tub from all the nozzles;
if one of the nozzles delivers more water than
the others, reduce the intensity of the jet. In this
case, too, the cycle is automatic and lasts about
two minutes. Once started, the cycle cannot be
interrupted.
At the end of the disinfection cycle, in order to
drain off any residual water from the valves in the
bottom of the tub, simply press SHIFT to select
A1, A2 or A3, then press SET and START.
This starts the blower, which will automatically
switch off after 30 seconds. If STOP is pressed
before this period has elapsed, the cycle will be
interrupted.
At the end of the cycle, turn the main switch
to OFF.
It is advisable to sit or lie down for ten to twenty
minutes after a hydromassage in order to enjoy
the fullest effect.
