Two sets dip switches
Operation
The BR 102-F RF base and smoke alarm is operating once the battery is cor-
rectly connected. When the particles of combustion are sensed, the alarm's
LED will flash very quickly and will give an alarm signal to BR 102-F. This
loud pulsating alarm will stop until the air is cleared. Then it will transmit a RF
alarm signal to the rest unit with BR 102-F. When the rest BR 102-F received
the signal, it will trigger rest alarms. The rest alarms will sound at the same
time but the LED will not flash. The alarm sound will mute for 7-8 seconds.
After 40 seconds, if the initiating unit still alarm, the rest units will sound
again (ie. For 7-8 seconds). So the users can recognize which alarm is in
accident.

Testing
It is recommended that you test your smoke alarm once a week to ensure the
alarm is working correctly. Press and hold the alarm testing button, the alarm
will emit a loud pulsating alarm and a red LED will be flashing quickly. After
about 5 +/– 2 sec, the rest alarms on the BR 102-F will start to sound for
about 7 sec. then stop. (Note: To proceed the next testing, you should wait
about 45 sec). You can also test it by blowing smoke into the chamber. Test
weekly to insure proper operation.
Note:
1. Test each alarm separately in the system.
2. Determine that the initiating alarm triggers other alarms in the system.
