Cleaning and maintaining the heater

If you use the device as heater
➤ Place the top cover (1) on the outer container (9).
➤ Ensure the strap (2) is placed on the outside of the heater.
If you use the device as cocking appliance
➤ Do not use the top cover (1).
➤ Put your pot or pan directly on the grid (3).
7.3 Extinguish the flame (fig. 1, page 2)
➤ Turn the regulator (5) fully to right (OFF).
✓ The burner (4) is closed.
➤ Wait about five seconds.
➤ Turn regulator (5) fully to left (ON) to make sure the flame is extinguished.
✓ The burner (4) is open.
➤ Turn the regulator (5) fully to right (OFF).
✓ The burner (4) is closed.

Do not use any sharp or hard objects for cleaning since they may
damage the device.
➤ Clean the heater periodically. In particular remove carefully sticky grease
and oil.
