ATTACHING THE HANDLE
1. Removethehairpinclips fromthehandlebracketsand removethe
carriagescrewsand wingnuts fromthelowerhandle.
a. Placethe bottomholesin lowerhandleoverthe pins on the
handlebracketsand securewith hairpinclips. See Figure2.
b. Insertcarriagescrewsthroughupper hole in lowerhandlefrom
the insideand securewith wing nuts.See Figure2.
2. a. Unfoldthe upperhandleuntilit alignswith lowerhandle.Make
sure the ropeguide is on the rightsideof upperhandle.See
Figure3.
IMPORTANT: M akesurethe cablesare routedoutsidethe lower
handle.Also,do notcrimp the cableswhile liftingup the handles.
b. Securethe two handlesby tighteningthe handleknobs (carriage
bolts mustbe seatedproperlyintothe handle).See Figure3.
Pullthe two cableties attachedto the cablestight approximately
8 inches fromeachcable end and placethe cablesintothe cable
guide.See Figure3.
Loosenthe wingnutthat securesthe ropeguide to the rightside of
upperhandle.
a. Pullthe starterrope outof the engineslowly.See Figure4.
b. Slipthe starterrope intothe ropeguide.Tightenthe wingnut.

5. a. Slide hoseadapterof hoseassemblyintothe baseadapter
locatedon the left front of the YardVacuum.See Figure5.
b. Pull springloadedpin outon the baseand align pin with the first
hole (closestto the end of the tube) in the hoseadapter.
c. Releasethe pin to lock the hose in place.
