15. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and regula-
tions applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Perform maintenance on the following components:

Properly use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings and rinse
with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
Removing the Fitting
Some maintenance work requires the fitting to be removed.
15.1 Use an Allen key to close the water volume regulator (a).
15.2 Trigger the fitting.
15.3 Loosen the union nut (b).
15.4 Remove the fitting.
16. Replacing the Grit Filter

Important!
Be careful to insert the grit filters the right way round.

17. Replacing the Thermocouple
Warning!
After installing the fitting or removing the thermocouple, adjust the scald protector.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
