The air humidifier is supplied fully assembled and ready for operation.
Check after unpacking:
■ Air humidifier damaged.
■ Scope of supply complete (chapter 5).
■ Check that the screws [9-3] are securely tightened.
8.1. Personalising the air humidifier
The air humidifier can be personalised with a CCS disk [3-1]. The air hu-
midifier is supplied ex works fitted with a red CCS disk [3-2].
■ Pull the CCS disk off the air humidifier and replace with a CCS disk with
a different colour.
8.2. Activate SATA filter timer
Notice!
The humidifier module must be replaced six months after being used for
the first time. The activated SATA filter timer shows the remaining time
[4-2].
■ Press the activation point [4-1]. A sound (clicking noise) confirms suc-
cessful activation.
8.3. Changing the mounting on the air carbon regulator to
allow for left or right handed mounting
Notice!
The air humidifier can be fitted to both sides of the belt. The breathing
protection hood connection valve and connection hose must always
point backwards.
8.4. Remove Protect safety cap
The air regulator is supplied ex works with the Protect safety cap [5-2] fit-
ted to the left adapter plate [5-3] of the belt. When using the air humidifier,
both adapter plates of the belt are occupied. The Protect safety cap must
be removed and kept safely.
■ Press the release lever [5-1] in.
■ Pull off the protection cap upwards.
