Start-up
You receive a completely assembled magnetic core drilling machine and detailed operation manual. Please check
the condition of the goods on receipt for any transport damage, and make sure the delivery is complete. Otherwise
contact the manufacturer immediately.
Always read the operation manual before using this machine for the first time!
1.
Insert the core drill in the tool holder on the working spindle of the motor and check the stable, exactly
positioned clamping of the tool (see back).
2.
First, check the cable and plug for damage, then insert the plug in the mains socket.
3.
Push the button MAGNET ON so that the magnet adheres and the grip of the drill stand is ensured.
4.
As soon as the signal LED lights up green or flashes red, activate the motor by pressing the MOTOR
ON key on the operating panel at the side.
5.
Turn the star handle to lower the motor and the rotating drill slowly to the work piece. Ensure sufficient cooling
during the drilling process.
6.
When you have finished drilling, move the motor upwards by turning the star handle. Deactivate the motor by
pressing the MOTOR OFF key on the operating panel.
7.
Once the motor has come to a complete standstill, remove swarf and other drilling waste.
8.
Push the button MAGNET OFF to switch the magnet off.
For non-magnetisable materials use the Rotabest Vacubest (Prod.-No. 18150). When working on walls and ceilings
secure the machine with the safety belt. At this work we recommend cooling the tool with a coolant spray (for
example Alfra BIO 4000, Prod.-No. 21040)
