8. The handle has to be closed firmly in order to ensure an optimum sealing
of the toast edges.
9. The first toast should not be used and should be thrown away.
10. Toast the sandwich for approx. 3-5 minutes.
11. Do not use any metal tools or sharp tools to take the toast out. We recom-
mend to use wooden or plastic tools.
Attention:
The surfaces of the appliance become hot during operation. Please use only
the heat insulated handle to open and close the appliance.

CLEANING AND CARE

1. Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid.
2. It is best to clean the baking surface while it is still warm with a soft brush
or with a damp cloth.
3. Never use pointed or hard objects. They would scratch the antistick coating.
4. The appliance must be completely dry before using it again.
5. For storage, you can wind the cable around the cable storage underneath the
appliance and then store it vertically.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning and let it cool down.
