3.3 Using the hand brakes

Apply the brakes by pulling both brake handles upwards.

To apply the parking brakes, press the brake handles carefully
downwards.
An audible sound indicates that the brake is in the correct
position.
It is important that both brakes are put into parking position.

To release the brake, pull the brake handle upwards.

Adjusting the brake effect

For desirable braking strength, adjust the brake wire.
Suitable tools: 8 mm and 10 mm spanner (not included).

3.4 Adjusting the handle height

1.
Stand behind the rollator with flat shoulders.
2.
Loosen the knob completely, remove the screw.
3.
Adjust the handle to suitable height.
The handles should usually
be positioned at wrist
height. Therapist may
suggest different heights
depending on specific
needs of the client.
4.
Fix the screw into the hexagonal hole.
5.
Fasten the knob properly.
6.
Repeat the procedure on the other side.
