Improper use of the blood pressure monitor may result in inaccurate measurements and
damage to the blood pressure monitor.
− Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the blood pressure monitor.
− Do not subject the blood pressure monitor to strong magnetic fields (e.g. transform-
ers). Otherwise this could cause errors in readings or damage to the blood pressure
monitor.
− Do not use the blood pressure monitor within 4.92 feet (1.5 meters) of a shortwave or
microwave appliance or a high-frequency electrosurgical device as this poses a risk
of irritation to the skin.
