− Switch the blood pressure monitor off before cleaning.
− Do not immerse the blood pressure monitor in water or other liquids to clean it.
− Remove the batteries each time before cleaning the blood pressure monitor.
− Carefully clean the surfaces of the blood pressure monitor at regular intervals (e.g. after every 20th use)
with a soft, damp cloth and a small amount of rubbing alcohol.
A mild cleaning agent may be used for stubborn dirt.
− After cleaning, use a soft cloth to dry all parts completely.
− Clean and disinfect the device and the cuff before handing them over to other persons to prevent dis-
eases from being transmitted.
