Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the
packaging material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the appliance after
unpacking for any visible damage, possible from transportation. Place the appliance on a stable and heat resistant surface.
Open the lid by pushing the open button. Remove the lid by pulling it straight up from the fryer. Remove the basket.
Wipe the exterior of the fryer and the reservoir only with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Clean the lid and the basket in the dishwasher. Ensure that the parts are dried thoroughly before use. Place the lid back on the fryer.
Fill the reservoir with frying fat to a level between the minimum and maximum level, ca. 2.5 liters. The frying fat can never be under
or over the minimum or maximum level. Inside the reservoir you find the two lines indicating the minimum and maximum level.
If you wish to use solid fat, cut the blocks to small pieces. Plug the fryer in and set the thermostat to 130°C. Wait until the solid
fat is melted and check the level. Adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature.
• Place the fryer on a stable and heat resistant surface.
• Plug the fryer in. The red thermostat lamp will light up.
• Turn the thermostat button to the right to the desired temperature. On the fryer only 130°-160°-190° are indicated.
The markings around the thermostat button correspond each with an increase of 15 degrees.
• As soon as the desired temperature is reached, the green controllamp goes out. The thermostat and the thermostatlamp
will toggle On and Off as the thermostat in the fryer maintains the correct temperature.
• The fryer is now ready to use.
• Fold out the handle, make sure it lockes and take the basket out of the fryer.
• Add the desired quantity of food to the basket. Do not add too much food at one time (never more than 2/3). Food should
be as dry as possible ot reduce the amount of water getting into the oil. Shake the ice off of frozen products above the sink.
• Lower the basket slowly into the oil. If you lower too fast, the oil can splash.
