In the ON position, the halogen light will go
out after the generators have fired, during
recharging. When several generators are
used, this provides an easy optical check as
to whether all units have properly fired.
6. Acoustic signal
A beep signals flash readiness. The beep
mode can be switched ON (green LED lit) or
OFF (green LED NOT lit) with switch (10).
7. Synchronization
Plug the 3.5mm jack of the sync cable
(MASYG) into one of the sync terminals (14)
and connect to camera.
Several generators can be synchronized via
the built-in slave cell (12). This can be
switched ON (green LED lit) or OFF (green
LED NOT lit) with switch (11).
The cell responds to flashlight and infrared
remote controls, such as Multiblitz MUSEN.
8. Operating the integral RADIO SLAVE
Module
Getting started
Power up the generator and connect the
supplied receiving aerial to the SMA-
connector below the control panels´ SYNC-
sockets.
Programming- / Selecting the transmissi-
on channel
1. Press the TEST button (the generator fires)
and hold it for approx. 5 sec. The set aper-
ture value (e.g.: 1.2), indicated on the LCD-
display of channel 1, changes to a value of
0.0 (= RADIO SLAVE OFF). The generator
now is in channel selecting mode, now the
transmission channel can be chosen by con-
tinuously pressing the TEST-button:

2. Once the desired channel is chosen, press
and hold the TEST button until the aperture
value displays again. Then let go of the TEST
button (the generator fires). The blue control-
LED on the generators control panel now
blinks once every second. The RADIO SLA-
VE receiving module is activated and the ge-
nerator is back in working mode again, the
unit is ready to be triggered with the RADIO
SLAVE transmitter.
3. To turn the RADIO SLAVE OFF repeat the
procedure as described under 1. and set the
channel value back to 0.0.
Notes
When the generator is switched OFF, the be-
fore programmed channel remains. It is not
necessary to go through the programming
procedure as long as you want to transmit on
the same channel as before when powering
up the unit again.
Once the generator is disconnected from the
power grid the receiving channel must be re-
programmed when the generator is again
connected to the grid and switched ON.
