- clip the rubber tightener (K) of the orange tightening
chain into the grey external chain and, if necessary, clip it
onto the second orange plastic hook (J).
- 7 -
- tighten the blue tightening chain of the blue ratchet (L)
and clip it onto the first blue plastic hook (M).
- clip the rubber tightener (N) of the blue tightening chain
into the grey external chain and, if necessary, clip it onto
the second blue plastic hook (M).

Fitting options

In order to achieve the optimal adhesion of the chain to
the tyre, the following set-up options are available:
- 8 -
- the chain is correctly fitted if there is a give of 1 - 2 links
at the upper and lower closures -arrow-.
- the chain is not correctly fitted if after tightening there is
no gap between the rotating part (G) and the ratchet (I)
and if the chain is thus unable to be further tightened. In
this case, the upper tightening chain must be tightened
up.
The removal of the snow chains
In order to remove the snow chains, follow the fitting
instructions in the reverse order.

- stop the vehicle so that the position of the chains is si-
milar to that in the picture.

- you may loosen the tightening chain by pressing the yel-
low button -arrow- on the lower orange ratchet (I).
- unhook the orange rotating part (G) from the grey end
hook (C).
- 11 -
- loosen the tightening chain by pressing the yellow but-
ton -arrow- on the upper blue ratchet (D).
- pull the chain forward and unhook the blue rotating part
(B) from the grey end hook (C).
