GB OPERATING MANUAL
The manifacturer is particularly specialized in the development and production of Uninterruptible Power
Supply (UPS). These UPS system are high quality products, carefully designed to meet the highest
performance standards.
This UPS has been built according to the LINE INTERACTIVE - AVR - STEP WAVE configuration.
This user's manual contains detailed instructions on UPS operation and care. In order to get the best
performance from your UPS, please read and follow carefully the instructions described in the following
pages. It is recommended that you keep this manual beside your equipment.

SAFETY REGULATIONS
This equipment should be operated by any individuals with no previous training.
The mains socket to which the UPS is connected must be grounded.
Dangerous voltage may be present in this device even while the UPS is off.. All repairs must be carried out
by authorized staff only.
The output socket of the UPS could be powered even when the UPS is not connected to the mains.
In case of mains failure (battery mode), do not disconnect the input cable from mains so to ensure the earth
connection to the loads supplied.
Do not let liquids and/or other foreign bodies into the UPS.
As the mains cable of the UPS is considered to be a sectioning device, the mains socket to which the UPS is
connected and/or the rear of the UPS must be accessible and easy to disconnect.
With mains voltage present and the UPS is connected to the mains (even with the UPS off), there are
potentially dangerous voltages inside the UPS.
Under conditions of danger and/or to disconnect the UPS from the energy sources, (the mains and batteries),
unplug the mains cable from the mains socket or the rear of the UPS, and power it off using the OFF button.
Attention, hazardous through electric shock. Also with disconnection of this unit from the mains, hazardous
voltage still may be accessible through supply from battery. The battery supply should be therefore
diconnected in the plus and minus pole at the quick connectors of the battery when maintenance or service
work inside the UPS is necessary.
The UPS generates a leakage current of about 0,5 mA. "With the installation of this equipment it should be
prevented, that the sum of the leakage current of the UPS an the connected consumer exceeds 3.5mA."
Replace the fuses ONLY with other fuses of the same type.
Replaced batteries are to be considered TOXIC WASTE and handled accordingly.
When replacing the batteries, use the same number and the following type of batteries.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, the battery may explode.
Do not open or mutilate the battery or batteries, released electrolyte is harmful to the skin and eyes.
A battery can present a risk of electric shock and high short circuit current. The following precaution should
be observed when working on batteries
•
Remove watches, rngs or other metal objects.
•
Use tools with insulated handles.
Use the UPS in accordance with the specifications shown in the technical characteristics table.
Note: There is no guarantee that interference to radio/TV will not occur in a particular installation. If this
UPS causes interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the UPS off
and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of following measures:
connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver
reorient the receiving antenna
