Notice!
The service life of the activated charcoal absorber in the belt unit
[1-7] and the quality of the breathing air is extensively determined by
the pre-cleaning of the admitted compressed air. The SATA filter 444
(# 92296) with automatic condensate drain must therefore be installed
upline of the activated charcoal absorber. It filters practically all water
and dust particles out of the admitted compressed air. If the pressure
difference between pressure gauges [5-1] and [5-2] is greater than
1 bar, the fine filter cartridge has to be replaced (change at least every
six months; see operating instructions for SATA filter 400).
Variant 2 and 3
Notice!
The SATA filter 464 activated charcoal filter (# 92247) [4] must be
installed upline of the breathing protection hood to remove oil mist
vapours from the breathing air. The activated charcoal filter must be
checked for proper function at regular intervals and serviced, when
necessary. In order to avoid saturation of the activated charcoal filter
cartridge, it has to be replaced every 3 months.
The time indicator is included in the scope of supply of every filter and
replacement cartridge!
