The scanner may not recognize punctuation marks and italics.
When scanning a long sentence, it is possible to correct it manually in the text area of the
Vasco Translator.
Scanner Settings
Press and hold the button
Scanning direction
- from left to right for right-handed people (by default)
- from left to right for a left-handed people
- from right to left for left-handers
Image quality - select the resolution of 600 dpi (default) /300 dpi
- Chinese text recognition.
Charging the scanner body
The Vasco scanner is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
Charging the battery is done by connecting the scanner with a USB cable to the charger
and then connecting it to a power outlet.
You can charge the scanner via a direct connection with a cable to a USB port on your PC
or laptop.
While charging the device in standby mode, the power LED should light orange and red if
the scanner is turned off. The LED turns off when the scanner is fully charged.
Warning! To charge the scanner it is recommended to use dedicated accessories
supplied with the kit. The use of accessories other than those recommended may
result in damage to the scanner.
Cleaning the scanner
If the scanner is dirty or a scanned image is not clear, you can clean the tip by gently rub-
bing it with a cotton cloth soaked in clean water, as shown in the following figure.
