The fan oscillates
1. Check the blades are securely fastened to the holders.
2. Check the blade holders are tight on the motor.
3. Ensure the mounting bracket is properly screws to the ceiling.
4. Most fan oscillation problems are caused by uneven blade levels. Check this
level by choosing a point on the ceiling above the end of one of the blades.
Measure this distance. Keeping the measurement within 3mm, rotate the
fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement. Repeat for each
blade. To set a blade end down, insert a washer (not supplied) between the
blade and the blade holder to the screw closest to the motor. To adjust one
blade, end up, insert a washer (not supplied) between the blade and the
blade holder to the two screws farthest from the motor.
5. If the blade oscillations are still visible, exchange two adjacent blades to
redistribute the weight and possibly cause smooth operation.
