Dismounting
- For dismounting the transverse carrier, proceed in the op-
posite way.
Important
- Before driving, check always whether the transverse carrier
is fastened properly, and the load is well ensured and fixed.
- Distribute the load upon the carrier proportionally, making
sure that its centre of gravity is in the lowest possible point.
- When transporting large objects (e.g. roof boxes, bicycles
etc.), the roof is exposed even to a higher load, because of
the air resistance increasing considerably; therefore, adjust
the driving speed to these conditions.
- When transporting loads, respect always the safety regulati-
ons of the respective country.
- In case you will not be using the rook carrier, we recommend
you to dismount it, because of the safety of transport, redu-
ction of the air resistance and the consumption of fuel.
Caution: After a short drive, check always the screwed
connections and the fastening of the load. Perform the
same check before each drive!
After having driven about 2000 km, check the tightening
torque of the screws, and if necessary retighten them.
Lubricate the inserts of the locks with the recommended
agent CONCOR 101 at least once a year.
The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for the
damages due to incorrect mounting.
