CAUTION
!
The ultra-violet radiation of the UVC lamp can burn your eyes and skin.
• Never operate the UVC lamp outside its casing.
• Never operate the UVC lamp in a casing that is defective.
Danger: Ultraviolet radiation.
!
Do not expose eyes to lamp rays.
Disconnect power before servicing or replacing lamp.
Replace lamp only with lamp rated 7 watts (UVC 700) 9 watts (UVC 1200):
Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock - Connect only to a circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI)
For indoor and outdoor household use
● Open the UVC water housing (see
section Opening and cleaning the
UVC water housing).
1. Remove the self-tapping screw (A).
● Unscrew the clamping screw (B) from
the unit head (C) by turning counter-
clockwise.
2. Pull off the quartz glass (D) and the
O-ring while slightly turning the unit
head (C).
3. Pull out the UVC lamp (F) and replace.
● Important: Only use lamps the
identification and capacity data of which
correspond to the information on the
type plate.
● Check the quartz glass (D) and the O
ring (E) for damage.
4. Insert the quartz glass (D) including the
O ring (E) against the stop in the unit
head (C).
5. Tighten the clamping screw (B)
clockwise up to the stop.
● Turn in and tighten the self-tapping
screw (A).
● Close the UVC water housing (see
section Closing the UVC water
housing).
