Putting the Siberia freezer into operation
Caution:
During the operation of the unit, ice may form on the flexibles and create a minor flow of water.
•
Press the switch (4) in order to start the Siberia freezer.
•
The compressor turns on; the refrigerating clamps start cooling the pipe.
•
Wait until the tubes freeze. Refer to the table of the corresponding times – material – diameter on
p 20. You may consider that complete freezing has been achieved when the thermometers of the
set screws (2) display a temperature of -15°C for at least 10 minutes.
•
After the complete freezing of the tubes, leave the freezer running and undertake your work.
Important:
Stopping the compressor stops the freezing process. This is why we advise you not to stop the
compressor during your work.
Shutdown
•
Unplug the freezer system, allow the refrigerating clamps and the hoses to defrost, remove them
from the pipe and clean them.
•
Hold the refrigerating clamps upright for approximately 5 minutes (hold them at the top) then switch
the system back on in order to allow liquid which may possibly still be inside the refrigerating
clamps to return to the circuit.
•
Disconnect the system, unplug the electric plug and store the hoses and the refrigerating clamps
inside the Siberia®.
Observations:
Tubes defrost is not immediate.
Caution:
Freezing may fail and a substantial flow of condensation water may occur. For that reason ensure that
the electric cable is isolated from the floor.
Storing the freezer
If you want to store the Siberia freezer, you can lower the handle (figure 4).
•
Unscrew the setting clamp (8).
•
Lower the handle (6).
•
Reclose the setting clamp (8).
