c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,
that can make a connection from one terminal to
another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a fi re.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, fl ush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or
burns.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualifi ed
repair person using only identical replacement
parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.

1. Do not undertake tasks that go beyond the cutting
capabilities of this tool as listed in the specifi cations
column. Also, do not cut hard materials whose tensile

2. Make sure to use the product with the anti-scattering
guard attached at all times. Never use the tool with the
guard removed.

3. Always wear a helmet, safety boots and other protective
equipment when working.
4. Hydraulic oil is fl ammable and the following precautions
should be taken to avoid fi re.
○ Do not remove the pump cases oil plug during operation
or when the tool is warm.
○ Replenish hydraulic oil after the tool has suffi ciently
cooled.
○ When replenishing hydraulic oil, choose a location
where there are no combustibles in the vicinity and
avoid any spilling. Should the oil be spilled, make sure to
thoroughly wipe it up.

○ Do not smoke when replenishing hydraulic oil or while
operating the tool.
○ Do not operate the tool near the location where hydraulic
oil was replenished.
5. When cutting rebar, make sure that the rebar is deeply
sandwiched between the cutting block. If not placed
deep enough, the cutter block may be damaged or
fragments may fl y, resulting in accident or injury.

6. Never set the rebar in a slant where it sticks out above
the anti-scatter guard.

7. When operating the switch, never place your fi ngers
near the cutter block. Doing so can result in injury.
8. Do not cut rebar down to a length that is any shorter than
30 cm. Also, do not cut 2 or more rebars at one time.
Doing so can result in fl ying fragments that may result in
accident or injury.

9. Do not use a damaged cutter block. Replace it with a
new one as a damaged cutter block will not only cause
damage to the tool, but accidents as well. If deformed,
the cutter block can be used by changing the direction in
which it is attached.
