EN – Installation instructions
Permissible use
The brackets may only be used to install Kermi
steel panel radiators.
Any other use is contrary to its intended pur-
pose and therefore not permissible.
Safety instructions
Read these instructions thoroughly prior to

installation.
DANGER
Life-threatening situation!
Check the condition of the supply lines
►
(electricity, gas, water).
Do not drill into any lines.
►
WARNING
Risk of injury from spring mechanism!
Each bracket is pretensioned by a spring
mechanism that engages when the radiator
is actuated.
Pretension brackets only after installa-
►
tion on the wall.
Do not take hold of the pretensioned
►
brackets.
WARNING
Personal injury and material damage!
Check substrate for load-bearing capac-
►
ity. Take the filled weight of the radia-
tor and possible additional loads into ac-
count (see manufacturer's data).
Check fasteners for applicability and tai-
►
lor them to the structural situation.
Special requirements, e.g. for public
►
buildings (schools or the like), must be
taken into into account.
Disposal
Packaging and any parts that are not need-
►
ed should be recycled or disposed of prop-
erly. Observe local regulations.
Wall spacing
The space from the wall to the backside of the
heater is 34 mm.
Installation
Installing brackets (see Fig. 1 – 4)
Check fasteners for damage.

Determine the minimum number each
by wall material for requirements class
1 – 3.

Prepare tools.
►
Mark holes to be drilled.
►

Refer to the radiator's operating and
installation instructions for the radiator
dimensions.

Drill holes and seat dowel.
–
Do not percussion-drill into Poroton
brick.
–
Seat dowel into the wall up to the
flange.
Hand-screw the brackets on.

Align brackets horizontally and vertically
►
and tighten screws.

Installing and securing the radiator
(see Fig. 5 – 8)

Pretension the brackets.
Place the radiator with the bottom edge on
►
the bracket foot and slide over the sound
insulation into the track, upright and press
in at the top.
Check whether the spring mechanism has
►
engaged on all brackets (visual inspection).
Ensure safeguard against shifting and dig-
►
ging due to tightening of the top screw.
