Push the pre-assembled mounting tube (B/L), with the slots for
the hooks (G) facing the rear, over bracket base (A), adjust to
the required floor spacing and fix mounting tube (B/L) using the
setscrew (M).
For type 10 the intermediate piece (K) is now pushed onto the

Install bracket(s) on the radiator
Turn the radiator upside down.
Remove the packaging from the radiator on the underside and
the rear in the area of the bottom straps.
Fit the pre-assembled bracket to the bottom of the radiator in
the area of the straps and guide in carefully (for dimensions
see sketch 7).
During the process the bracket block (D) is placed on the seam
along the length of the radiator.
Fit the hook (G) to the bottom strap on the radiator and insert
through the related slot on the mounting tube (B) and bolt in
place using hex nut (I) and washer (H).
The bracket is fastened to the radiator by tightening the hex nut
(I).
On installing type 10 the intermediate piece (K) is inserted in
the strap on the radiator.
Then fit the hook (G) to the intermediate piece (K) and bolt to
the mounting tube (L) as described above.
Note!
-
Recommended spacing "X" for finished floor = 200mm
9
Install radiator on floor
After fitting the brackets, place the radiator on the floor bracket
bases (A) and position in the installation location.
Mark the holes to be drilled through the holes in the floor
bracket bases.
Remove radiator and drill the holes at the positions marked.
Place the radiator in position, align and fasten to the floor using
1
-
suitable screws (max. Ø 10mm, 4 pieces per bracket) and wall
-
1
plugs.
1
1
The radiator can be aligned horizontally after undoing the
2
2
setscrew (M) and the hex nut (I) by moving the mounting tube
1
1
(B/L).
1
1
Then re-tighten the setscrew (M) and the hex nut (I).
1
1
On pre-installation of the floor brackets, the floor bracket bases
1
1
are screwed to the floor at the stipulated spacing.
1
1
The radiator is then fitted to the floor brackets (for position see
1
1
section 7).
Fit the hook (G) to the bottom strap on the radiator and insert
through the related slot on the mounting tube (B/L) and bolt in
place using hex nut (I) and washer (H).
Risk of serious injury!
Do not damage any pipes carrying water or gas, or any
electricity cables during drilling!
10 Remove and dispose of paint caps on radiators fitted
with valves.
Note:
Paint caps are not allowed to be used for sealing the radiator.
11 Unscrew existing painted blanking plugs from the
compact radiator, depending on the type of
connection used.
Dispose of blanking plugs that are not required. The plugs are
only allowed to be reused on Kermi flat radiators.
12 Fit air vent plug (not included in accessory set) and
painted blanking plug at the top, depending on the
type of connection used.
Note:
On radiators with valves, blanking and air vent plugs are
already fitted in the factory.
13 Connect radiator to plumbing using commercial-
standard fittings.
Note:
Radiators with valves are only allowed to be connected at the
¾" connection on the valve fitting.
Exception:
Centre connection radiators FTM and PTM, for connection
options see technical documentation from Kermi GmbH.
