Note: For 4x4 vehicles, the hitch is to be attached with the M14x1,5x80 and M14x1,5x160
screws instead of the M14x1,5x55 and M14x1,5x140 screws, which are enclosed.

This towing device may be fitted with towing hitches (A50-X class) and bolt couplings (e.g., C50
class) - also in connection with removable plate systems.
For box-type/estate vehicles, bolt couplings can only be used in connection with removable plate
systems.
The coupling point clearance of a towing hitch or a bolt coupling must be a minimum of 70 mm
and a maximum of 204 mm from the rear of the screw-down area. The clearance from the upper
mounting points "d" must be a maximum of 35 mm above and 32 mm below.
CAUTION: For flatbed lorries and box-type delivery vans/estate cars in the above-
mentioned area of application with a chassis number (from approx. October 95) larger than:

the towing bracket must be fitted as described in the appendix.
For box-type delivery vans/estate cars with a chassis number smaller than the above-
mentioned number, the reinforcement set with the Westfalia Part No. 306 142 650 002 or Citroën
Part No. KN22078A or Fiat Part No. 46 234 363 or Peugeot part No. 004795 must be also fitted.
For flatbed lorries with a chassis number smaller than the above-mentioned number, the
reinforcement set with the Westfalia Part No. 306 151 650 002 or Citroën Part No. KN22067A or
Peugeot Part No. 004796 must also be fitted.
