PAPER TRANSFER AREA (front area)
1. Open the front panel

1. Open the front panel. Lift the
cover, and use the feed
handle to disconnect the mul-
ti-feeder. If the LCT tray is
inserted, open the right hand
panel on the tray.

2. Move the lever to the left
2. Remove the jammed paper.

3. Remove the paper taking care
not to tear it. If this is
unavoidable, make sure that
all the pieces are removed.
Avoid touching the cylinder
(see dashed line area in the
diagram) as this could get
damaged.
4. Return the lever to its original
position.
5. Close the front panel.
3. Reconnect the multi-feeder.
Close the cover and the front
panel.
