INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

CAREFULLY.
• WARNING: TO AVOID DANGER OF SUFFOCATION
REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVER BEFORE USING THIS
ARTICLE. THIS COVER SHALL BE DESTROYED OR KEPT
AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN.
WARNINGS
• Bassinet can only be fitted to Chicco Lullaby,
Chicco Lullaby with changing mat and Chicco
Caddy cots.
• Before using Bassinet, read the cot instructions
carefully
• Age: From 0 to 6 months (weighing up to around 8
Kg.). WARNING: When a child is able to sit, kneel
or to pull itself up, the Bassinet shall not be used
anymore for this child
• WARNING: Before assembly, check that the
product and all of its components have not been
damaged during transportation. Should any part
be damaged, do not use and keep out of reach of
children.
• Before use check that all the components are
correctly assembled and fitted to ensure that any
parts of the child's body or clothes do not remain
trapped (for example, laces, necklaces, pacifiers'
strings, etc.) and to prevent the risk of chocking.
• The assembly and dismantlement operations of
Bassinet must be carried out only by an adult.
• Do not use Bassinet without the lower metal
support tubes.
• Bassinet must always be used with the Chicco cot
mattress placed above the support metal tubes,
and fastened with the Velcro straps.
• WARNING: for correct and safe fitting, additional
mattresses should be not less than 113 cm in
length and 57 cm in width nor more than 117 cm in
length or more than 61 cm in width. The thickness
of the Chicco cot mattress plus the thickness of
any additional mattresses must be such that the
internal height (the distance between the upper
surface of the mattress and the upper edge of the
cot's sides) is at least 200 mm, as shown by the
WHITE LINE drawn on the edge of Bassinet
• WARNING do not use the Bassinet unless all the
components are correctly fitted and adjusted
• WARNING: Do not use Bassinet if any part is
broken, torn or missing.
• WARNING: Do not leave any objects inside
Bassinet that may be used by the child as a foot
support, and to prevent the risk of suffocation
and/or chocking
• Do not place the cot near windows or walls, where
strings, curtains or other objects may be used by
the child to climb out of the cot, and to prevent
the risk of suffocation and/or chocking.
• WARNING: to prevent the risk of burns or fire,
never place Bassinet near electrical appliances,
gas cooker or other sources of intense heat. Keep
Bassinet away from electrical cables.
• Do not use accessories, spare parts, or any
component not supplied or approved by the
manufacturer. WARNING: If the child is left inside
Bassinet, ensure that the wheels of the cot are
locked.
• Do not use Bassinet with more than one child at
a time.
• Never place a child in the cot with Bassinet fitted
on top of it.
• Do not let other children play unattended close to
the cot or climb on it.
• If Bassinet is left exposed to high temperatures
for a long time, allow it to cool for a few minutes
before placing your child in it.
• To use the cot in the lowest position, first remove
Bassinet.
• Do not disassemble Bassinet with the child inside
it.

Do not use more than one mattress in the
bassinet.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The cleaning and maintenance of Bassinet must only
be carried out by an adult. Please refer to the care label
on the edge of Bassinet.
• Clean the fabric parts with a damp cloth soaked in
water or neutral detergent.
• Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth soaked in
water.
• Always dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of
rust if the stroller has come into contact with water.
• Do not use abrasive detergents or solvents.
• Protect Bassinet from atmospheric agents, like water,
sun, rain or snow; prolonged exposure to direct
sunlight may cause parts of Bassinet to fade.
• Regularly check that the parts of Bassinet are not worn,
