Creating a priority circuit

You can create a priority circuit using a changeover relay whereby the external volt-
age supply has priority over the generator, see circuit diagram (fig. c, page 10):

➤ Mount the changeover relay in a suitable position.
➤ Connect the wires following the circuit diagram (fig. c, page 10).

Connecting the starter battery

NOTICE!
The starter battery must have 12 V and a capacity of at least 60 Ah.
➤ Connect the positive terminal of the battery (fig. a 1, page 7) with the positive
battery terminal connection using a suitable cable:
– Cable lengths < 6 m: Cross-section of 16 mm²
– Cable lengths < 6 m: Cross-section of 25 mm²
➤ Connect the negative terminal of the battery (fig. a 2, page 7) with a suitable
cross-section (see above) as follows:
➤ Connect the earth connection of the generator with the vehicle chassis.
➤ Remove any paint or rust from the chassis if necessary to ensure good contact.
➤ Protect the connections with an anti-corrosive agent (e.g. lubricating grease,
lubricant/protective spray).

Connecting the control panel
➤ Connect the control panel to the connection box using the extension cable pro-
vided on the plug for the control panel (fig. 0, page 6).

➤ Connect the float from the tank to the float connection (fig. a 4, page 7).
